Benefits of a small playschool

The first introduction to a “school” environment can be a difficult and emotional time for both parent and child.  Knowing that your child is happy, secure and well cared for is crucial for your peace of mind (and heart) during this sensitive phase.  Our small playschool with our “high caregiver – low child” number-ratio ensures that your child receives the highest quality care, attention and supervision at all times.

Activities (In/Excursions)

We have regular incursion and excursions based on the week’s theme, to make it fun and more relateable for our tots.  Examples : the snake handler and crocodile farmer in our “reptile” themed week, the dentist in our “teeth and dentist” themed week  We take field trips with our older children to Caster Bridge Farm Yard, Sudwala Dinosaur Park.  Our tots enjoy theme related activities each week which includes puppet shows, bakers days, show & tell, face painting, dress-ups, to name a few…..

Our weekly themes are compiled from several different preschool curriculums and guidelines and are interpreted and presented by our team of expert foundation phase teachers.   Within the scope of each theme the child has several invitations to engage and encounter fun filled learning experiences.

A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. Brad Henry
